The Wild Watch - an intro to bees and other pollinators

Join Steven Falk to learn about our amazing pollinators and their needs - you will never look at the countryside in the same way again!

We will start with an indoor session and then spend the majority of the day in the field looking at insect habitat and improving basic ID skills. This is a real opportunity to brush up on your insect identification skills with a renowned expert. Steven is one of Britain's leading experts on pollinators and their identification, ecology, conservation and management, recently writing the 'Field Guide to Bees of Great Britain & Ireland'.

This course is open to all but if you are a Wild Watch volunteer undertaking our bee, butterfly and beetle surveys, this course is ideal for developing identification skills and understanding more about these fascinating creatures.
