Volunteering

Would you like to volunteer in some of the most beautiful countryside in Yorkshire?

Volunteering in Nidderdale is a great way to make friends, learn new skills, get fit and make a real difference to the long term conservation and protection of some of the most beautiful countryside in the Yorkshire Dales.

From practical conservation work and dry stone walling to student placements and office work, there are lots of ways to volunteer with us.

If you want to find out more about what our volunteers get up to, have a look at our volunteer blog and volunteer stories to see if you think volunteering in Nidderdale AONB might be for you. It’s brilliant fun!

Learning new skills is an important part of volunteering. Every year we create a training programme that is absolutely free for regular volunteers. Take a look at our volunteer training programme 2016 for more details. And please remember to book in advance – places are limited!

Ready to go for it? Complete our volunteer enquiry form and we will get back to you, or if you can't see the kind of volunteering that you’re looking for, contact us to discuss further. We would love to hear from you!
