The 2014-19 Nidderdale AONB Management Plan sets out how the special qualities of this nationally important landscape can be maintained in a way that does not harm the interests of people who live and work in the AONB.
The Plan coordinates action by land managers, members of the AONB’s rural communities, third sector bodies like the National Trust, local authorities and Government agencies. It contains policies that say what the AONB stands for and a vision of how the AONB should look in 2050, and objectives that are designed to help towards achieving the vision.
The Annual Review is part of an ongoing process of monitoring. The review is produced in July each year and contains a description of work carried out and a financial summary of income and expenditure over the last year.
